Frequency Launches Bleav’s FAST Channels

Frequency Launches Bleav’s FAST Channels – As the 2022 NFL Regular Season kicks off, Frequency, the top cloud-based video SaaS platform powering linear channels for content providers across the globe, and sports and entertainment omnichannel production company Bleav, launched Bleav’s free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels.

Frequency’s Studio platform created Bleav’s two FAST channels for OTT distribution, Bleav and Bleav Football, which will initially feature Bleav’s famed 32 NFL team shows. Former players and media personalities host every show, breaking down game action, previewing upcoming matchups and talking through transactions. Hosts include names like Carl Banks and Bob Papa (New York Giants), Ahman Green and Mike Wahle (Green Bay Packers) and LeGarrette Blount and Christopher Price (New England Patriots).

“Sports fans today want a multitude of options for consuming content, and FAST is quickly becoming a preferred destination,” Bleav CEO Bron Heussenstamm said. “We are pleased to provide the Bleav community with a new way to access the content they crave without paying for another subscription. Given Frequency’s deep-rooted experience working in the sports and entertainment industry, it was a no-brainer to partner with them and to power our FAST initiatives.”

Bleav currently produces over 1,000 hours of original content each month across 500 shows, with millions of viewers and listeners tuning in via popular podcast, audio, video, streaming, digital and social media platforms. Its content covers the world of sports, entertainment and pop culture.

“In a short time, Bleav has distinguished itself as a leading content brand across sports and entertainment,” Frequency SVP, Business Development & Distribution Jon Cohen said. “It’s exciting to partner with Bleav and power their FAST initiatives. The Bleav team understands that FAST will be pivotal in supercharging their growth. We’re excited to help scale their distribution and future monetization.”

Frequency Studio’s platform delivers channels to over 250 million connected TVs worldwide, enabling companies to distribute content on platforms like The Roku Channel, Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV, Tubi TV, among many others. Bleav’s distribution and monetization partners can now leverage Frequency Studio for all linear origination and monetization needs.
